Rock, Latin, HipHop, Freestyle. We’ve got the lessons, you’ll have the moves. And at 5:00 pm, you get the chance to see State Street Ballet dancers in action, performing short, innovative works. Channel Islands Harbor presents Gypsies in a Trunk, the all-volunteer troupe of actors who perform free fairy tales for the young and the young at heart. They will perform at the north end of Harbor View Park located south of Marine Emporium Landing between Cabezone Circle and Barracuda Way on Harbor Blvd.

Gypsies in the Trunk will also perform a variety of other productions at Channel Islands Harbor.

Ventura's 4th of July Street Fair continues its proud 41-year-old tradition on Monday, July 4, 2016 from 10 am to 5 pm in Ventura’s Downtown Cultural District. "Celebrating Ventura's 150 Years" is this year's theme.

The Independence Day event regularly draws 30,000 residents and visitors.

This SHOWCASE of handmade arts and crafts by more than 300 artisans stretches along six blocks of Main Street from Fir Street to Mission Park.

Enjoy savory FOODS from many booths sponsored by local organizations and businesses and LIVE ENTERTAINMENT on several stages along Main Street:

KIDS ZONE: At Mission Park kids can enjoy rides and inflatables and visit a Ventura Fire Department fire engine.

PUSHEM PULLEM PARADE: Children and adults and their bicycles and little red wagons are invited to dress up for the Pushem-Pullem Parade sponsored by the Ventura East Rotary Club. The parade assembles at Cemetery Park (Main & Crimea) at 9:30 am and begins to parade down Main Street at 10 am. Participants receive a free commemorative button while supplies last. Dress up in your favorite patriotic attire.

Admission to the event is free thanks to its presenter, the City of Ventura Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Partnerships and sponsors listed below.

The Downtown Oxnard Certified Farmers' Market is a free open-air community market located in the beautiful Plaza Park at 5th & B Streets in Oxnard, CA. Open year-round, the market offers an enormous variety of the freshest local fruits and produce available as well as freshly prepared items such bread, dried fruits, nuts, and more.

Tables and chairs are provided for guests to relax in the park, eat, listen to live music performances by local entertainers and bring the kids to enjoy the fresh air and activities. Every Thursday all guests are welcome to participate in the free noon-time raffle.
